About the Instructor:

Oscar Escobar

Oscar is a Bay Area native who has been playing the game of soccer since the age of four. He started playing for local club ABSC, but then decided to make the big step playing competitive soccer for Mavericks Soccer Club once he was in middle school. After graduating high school, he knew that he wanted to work with kids, especially in the field of soccer, so that’s where he saw that coaching was the perfect fit! He has previously coached competitive soccer of all age groups at Spurs FC and at El Cerrito High School.

Oscar currently coaches for soccer 2gether and at Lamorinda Soccer Academy in Orinda/Moraga.

Nitzan Yerovam

Nitzan Yerovam was born and raised in Israel and has been living in the Bay Area for twenty years. He played soccer for CCSF and has been coaching soccer since 2007. He is a certified soccer referee and soccer coach (D national certificate).

In 2013, Nitzan founded Soccer2together with the vision of bringing people together to build community and life skills through games and sports, with a focus on basic motor skills, collaboration, confidence, and team building in a relaxed and nurturing environment. He has been working with kids from preschool to adulthood.
