Course Fee: $140

Printmaking with and without a Press (1st-5th grade) -- This class exposes children to a wide range of printmaking techniques and explorations of texture in the world around us. The course is unique in that it provides children with the opportunity to use a professional grade etching press to produce prints using sophisticated printing techniques such as collograph and monoprinting. Please note that all materials are non-toxic. Depending upon the age range of the group, projects will be tailored appropriately.

Please Note: An additional Class Materials Fee based on a sliding scale may be added.


About the Instructor:

Suzi Garner

Suzi Garner is an artist and facilitator who has performed, held exhibitions, and led classes and workshops for children and adults in California, Canada, and Vietnam. In Berkeley she has worked as a facilitator as Sticky Art Lab for many years. Her areas of specialty include printmaking, shadow puppetry, and community art projects.
