Creative Movement and Yoga (TK-3rd) 2:30 - 3:10
Instructor: Angela Madonia
Course Fee: $90
This class is a fun way to move and breathe and to be silly after school. We will start with free movement and dancing and connecting as a group. We will then bring the movement and breath together as we learn simple yoga poses and mindfulness techniques building on our movements and body awareness. A creative and accessible class for kids at every level. We end class with a story and a short rest. Care providers are welcome to join in if the child is open to it.
Yoga @ School (Spring 2021?)
Kids will have an opportunity to move to music and to stories read aloud using their own creativity process. We will also create our own stories and different ways to move, and the kids will have an opportunity to teach each other. We will then bring the movement and breath together as we learn simple yoga poses and mindfulness techniques building on our movements and body awareness. We will use scarves, and animal sounds, and books, and art supplies. A fun and silly and creative and accessible class for kids at every level.
Rice cakes will be provided as a snack when kids first arrive.
